We're in Boston today, and we've got the day off. Conan is still in NYC, but I feel like those of us who are here have taken full advantage of the city: Lodato and I walked all around, I bought some sweet Kung Fu shoes, we drank a bunch of beers, we played some pool, meet up with other tour folk, played MORE pool, I lost a bunch of money playing pool, we drank more, we had dinner, watched the Celtics play the Lakers, and then drank MORE beer. I know it sounds boring, but we had a great time. It's a vicious cycle. And by the way: These kung fu shoes are super comfortable. Especially when they're KICKING BRAINS OUT OF HEADS.
Tomorrow we play the Wang Theater for our first of two Boston shows, and it's gonna be phenomenal: A Conan O'Brien homecoming! THE DEVIL IS COMING HOME TO ROOST, PEOPLE. The Comedy Devil. Sorry. Seriously. I think Pee Wee has influenced me more than any other comedian in my whole life (besides Conan. And Richard Jeni). The guy is a genius. I was dying backstage. DYING. See y'all tomorrow! Peace!
