Kick Out The Jams!
Hey y'all! Welcome to the very first TEAM COCO TUESDAY!!! Over the summer, every Tuesday we'll have a brand new awesome amazing incredible mindblowing update right here at TeamCoco.com... And there's no better way to kick out the jams and take care of business on our first TCT than with a couple of awesome videos!
As I'm sure you're all well aware, the big news that happened this past week in the world of Coco was that we had our very first Conan/TBS collaboration, as Andy and a handful of our writers were featured in an hour long stand up comedy special this past Sunday night! I hope you all caught it, party people - because it was hilarious. Everyone did really great. HOWEVER, the constraints of TV meant that two of our hilarious writers actually got cut out... And getting cut isn't cool. Especially because they were still really funny. So what did I do? I GOT THE FOOTAGE AND DECIDED TO POST IT RIGHT HERE!! Bamsauce!
The first writer to get cut (which he actually predicted would happen in a previous video) was the hilarious and awesome Matt O'Brien:

I'm super happy that we could still post their sets right here online; Matt and Dan were really great and deserved to be seen. If you missed out on watching the actual Stand Up special at all (or just can't get enough and want to watch it again), you can watch it online right here! Yes! Everybody wins! Thanks again, TBS... I have the feeling that this is going to be the beginning of a great friendship. ;)

Yes to this! I just watched these & loved them just as much as the others. The variety on the writing staff is really wonderful. My only qualm is the lack of women, but that has been discussed elsewhere. I also believe that this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship :)
How much did you love Louis CK's show tonight!? Did you know that Reggie Watts did the original music? The comedy circle is complete, man! THE CIRCLE OF LIIIIIIFE! Oh, wait, you haven't watched "The Lion King". *single tear*

Was it the TBS editors that chose who's sets got to air? They had some tough choices to make. And how much did they edit the guys that actually made it in the special - aside from the censor? And do you think that Reggie Watts will be involved with the show? He is hilarious.
Everyone was great! This just made me even more excited for November - can't wait to see what this incredible team has in store!

I loved that I got to see it live and most of it again on Sunday, but thank you and TBS for posting the missing sets. All of them where great. And your little cameo at the start rocked!
Glad to see all of Team Coco got their shot at glory. It would have been sad to think that all the hysterical comedy up above could have been relegated to the the cutting room floor, never to be laughed at again. Makes you get a lump right here....no wait, right HERE. Yeah, that's more accurate.

Haha, two great sets. If that's what they left out, what they left in must have been incredible. Only bummer is that as an international member of Team Coco (I hail from the UK) I can't watch the Special :(

Just as funny as the night it was taped! Oh, & I was so excited to see myself in the audience! The back of my head & right ear got about 12 seconds of TV time - yay! I have a question. Is there some way to see the livestream from that night? I would love to see what kind of shenanigans were going on down in the basement! Thanks!

Oh wow, Just heard Leno's rating's on The Tonight Show are in the can and they're wondering if may actually get canceled. If they would have kept Conan there it would be CLIMBING in the ratings by now. How sad. Conan refused to go along with changing the time or anything wanting to hold onto the integrity of the show Johnny Carson had worked so hard to build up and now it may be destroyed because they weren't smart enough to keep Conan there. Well what's done is done. TBS won, NBC lost. CONAN'S FANS WON!!!
