The City So Nice, They Named It Twice!

After quite a ramp up, we are finally performing our first of two shows here in New York City.  Tonight's show (as you would expect) is going to be a tightly packed powder keg of special guests, incredible surprises, and lots of killer Coco rocking action!  If you're coming to the show tonight, you might want to have a diaper on hand - or at the very least, some smelling salts for the people around you (when they pass out from all the awesomesauce being thrown their way).

By the way, it is impossible - IMPOSSIBLE to take a bad picture here in Radio City Music Hall.  It is just absolutely beautiful:

I have to run downstairs to check out more rehearsal action, but we'll talk after tonight's show!  Wish us luck!!!

Good Luck!!!!!! You guys are gonna kill it! btw that Curtain looks like the heaviest curtain in the world!

*kick* You'll be awesome everyone of you - I just know it! And please, you guys that are going to witness it, take a lot of pictures and clips for us that are across the pond and can't even go _near_ the Coco show. *wave* :)

Good luck, Bley! ((hugs))

I really, really want to meet you tomorrow. Even more than Conan, because Imet him before. When he shook my hand, I didn't wash it for two weeks. Maybe for you it'll be three weeks! =O

These shows will kick ass, I can feel it in me bones. Though you told every city to bring diapers, so each person at these shows must need to bring like 6! It's about to get messy in there.

(Have fun!)

I wish I could be there tonight or tomorrow! No doubt Team Coco is going to ROCK NYC! Ah, how I envy you Bley and Team Coco...

Hey Bley. This won't be related but how do I get the rss on this site to work with firefox's regular feed reader?

What a great way to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the Tonight Show. :)

Good luck! And you're right, Radio City is absolutely gorgeous! Wow!

Hey there, I'm an entertanment journalist writing on night 2 of the NYC show. If Conan should feel like talking to me for the Wall Street Journal's awesome entertainment blog, I've submitted my email address. More info on Twitter at @ampersandra. Thanks kindly!

Toi toi toi! I know you all will be amazing tonight - I can't imagine how much fun these 2 shows will be! Sweet Lord, what a venue! Break legs & kick ass!!! =D

Wow the meant to write "involved" not "invoked". I really should proof read before I post.

Luck? LUCK!? You guys don't need luck. Luck is for those who don't have the talent, skills, or ambition to succeed. You and all that are invoked in this tour have all three of these traits in spades. I will though, wish you a good show. Y'all are going to rock it hard.

Best of luck, Bley! Have a lot of fun tonight!

I'm not sure if anything will come of this but I thought I would try it, anyway! I will be at the show this Sunday night, 6/6, at Mohegan Sun with my boyfriend of 2.5 years and I want to propose to him in the most creative way possible. Since Conan seems like one of the few celebrities to honor a request like this but is there anyway that Conan would call me out at his show on Sunday so i can propose? I doubt it but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?? Regardless of the outcome, I'm really looking forward to the show and all the laughs that I am sure will ensue!

Just saw you in AC, wish I could've seen celebrities, but it was awesome anyway! Good luck!!

Ahh tonight's show is going to be crazytown awesome!
Also - Radio City Music Hall is gorgeousss. I remember going there when I was 10 to see the Christmas Thing (which I thought was kinda lame, sorry New York...) and while getting a backstage tour telling my parents that my future home will have all art deco architecture, interior design and art :).
Clearly I'm not quite there yet, for at the moment I reside in a dingy basement apartment with a couple of pictures of Hunter Thompson, Rivers Cuomo and Conan tacked up on the wall...

Sup iffy tangent in comment?

Back to Conebone! A year ago today I was at taping of the first episode of Conan's Tonight Show

this blog title reminds me of jugle to jungle.

Wait at the stage door behind the barriers on the 51st street side of the music hall.

JUNE 2ND PEEPS! Where are we hanging out after the show? I want to get Conan's autograph!

I've been reading the tweets/facebook posts about the show, and I'm wishing I could have been there tonight. Wow. How can one room possibly contain so much awesomeness? Did you have to get special permits for it? Of course, seeing Conan and the gang is incredible on its own merits, but special guests are the icing on the cake. It's great that so many people came out to support Conan and the tour.

Triumph -- a perfect tag for today. I'm still sad and angry that NBC didn't give Conan a fair shot with his Tonight Show, but I am thrilled that this tour has turned a bad situation into something so positive, inspiring and joyful. I can't wait to see what November brings.

PS - My husband and I were audience members for the first taping of Conan's Tonight Show. It was such an amazing day, and I'll never forget it.

I was at the show tonight, and it was incredible. I wish I'd had a diaper, because I really needed it! Sorry Radio City janitors. :(

All joking aside - tonight was one of the best nights of my life and you all made that happen. You're a class act and I wish you all the best.

Three words: So Much Fun!

Bley.. I've seen the videos from the show on Monday and it was beyond AWESOME. All the shows have been great, but this one is like the cherry on top.
Bley you have the best job ever, you lucky bastard!
Good Luck Tonight!

I don't think I'll have time to check the Interwebz for a while after this, so you'll probably soon write another blog for which my comments will be more pertinent, I just want to get this stuff in before I leave for a second batch of sweet Coco lovin'.

First of all, I will have it known, that months ago, I totally predicted that Jon Stewart and/or Stephen Colbert would be the special guests in New York (if you don't believe me, you can check my Facebook or Twitter page, or the I'm With Coco discussion board). Due to my now-apparent psychic powers, I have a proposition to make. If, for some unfortunate reason, Conan cannot legally continue his "In the Year 2000/3000" bit on the new TBS show, I would like to ask that he hand over the rights to the segment to me. I would rename it a third time, to become "In the Year Over-9000," and as a result of my incredible psychic abilities, I can promise totally accurate predictions roughly 73.5% of the time. So tell Conan to think it over. ;)

(cont. from my last comment that got cut off for some reason...) In all seriousness, though, June 1 was an amazing, amazing show... I don't know how June 2 will top it, but I'm confident you guys can pull it off! I have to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for making this happen... I never got a chance to see Late Night live, and obviously could never make it out to the Tonight Show, so this was basically like... all my childhood dreams coming true, ha ha. I don't at all regret having bought tickets to four shows on this tour... although my wallet does... but it'll learn to live with it, ha ha. ;)

My only slight, incredibly nit-picky complaint, was the lack of love for the stage left aisle... we were sitting over in the 100 section and everyone was soooo jealous of the lucky folks on the other side of the room! Well, tonight I happen to have tickets for the stage RIGHT aisle instead - but knowing my luck, there'll be a parade up and down the stage left aisle now that I'm on

(Oh dear... didn't realize you can't be quite so wordy with these comments... really really sorry to be spamming your blog!) Just want to add though that I really can't complain much. Who could? I'm still trying to wrap my mind around all the epic I just experienced!

Anyway, hope you guys all manage to grab some sleep before you have to rock NYC again - we'll be waiting for you! Break a leg, everyone!!

And thus ends the comment from hell... as you can see, I'm new around here... :O

Please release some additional seats for tonight's show!!!!

I heard it was awesome!! I'm going tonight and I hope to see some of those guests, like Stewart & Colbert. :D

So you guys basically rolled into NYC, took Radio City by storm, put the audience in a choke-hold of awesomeness, threw them to the ground and made them call you Mama. Is that about it?

You do realize that to top last night, tonight you all must turn water into wine and teach the Statue of Liberty how to stringdance?

The show was effin AWESOME!!!! Seeing Conan & Company was great already, but seeing Conan, Stewart & Colbert together on stage was icing on a perfect cake! And if THAT wasn't enough.... John Krasinski AND Paul Rudd!!!! I was in heaven... You guys are the best and so was last night's show!!!! LOVE YOU!!!!!!

I'm so freaking psyched to be at this show tonight!

As always, killer pic!
