2010 is winding down - but don't close your sleepy eyes on the past year just yet, cuz we're ringing in the new year by counting down the last decade's worth of spectacular CONAN comedy bits! (Again, disregard the fact that we've only been on the air for 2 of the past 120 months of this decade. Thanks, pal.) Check out the 11 hits of sweet DOPENESS below.

11.)Taiwanese Animation of Conan

The Taiwanese are an interesting people. As part of their news broadcasts, they have animators crank out these creepy lifelike video game animations to better explain complicated news stories - and while we were flattered when they did one about our new show, no one makes fun of Team Coco but Team Coco!! We fired back at their jabs with an animation of our own (Seen here), and then they answered with ANOTHER hilarious animation! Damn! Taiwan=1, Coco=0. Note to self: Don't start fights with international animation departments. Thanks for having a mock feud with us, Taiwan... AND WATCH YOUR BACK IN 2011!

10.) Ricky Gervais Greets Conan

Ricky Gervais is a good friend of ours, so when he said that he wanted to wish us well on our new show, we naturally thought that he'd be full of compliments and good cheer - but knowing Ricky, we should've known better! It's always nice to know that your friends have always got your back - even if there's a knife in it. (Luckily, it's a comedy knife, so it's made of rubber. But it still tickles something fierce!) I can't wait to see what he sends us for our NEXT show...

9.) The Basic Cable Stars Welcome Conan

It's hard being a new guy in a new place, but lucky for Conan, basic cable is a pretty friendly place to be! During our first week of shows, some of basic cable's biggest stars came by to wish Conan well as he embarked on his new TBS adventure! Oh man I can't believe those King Crabs came all the way down from Alaska; usually they're such premadonnas. And that hoarder... Well, I think the hoarder left with a couple of pieces from the set. And an intern. Vaya con dios, Eric... Vaya con Dios.

8.) Conan's Commercial for Black People

Presenting the commercial that spawned the afro-logo that spawned the infamous t-shirt: To help Conan fit in on the Tyler Perry-dominated TBS, writer Deon Cole made a commercial for the show that would help Conan catch the interest of a more diverse audience. We have no idea if the commercial actually helped our demographics, but it certainly made our jowls jiggle (Sorry, I've put on a bit of weight this holiday season). Deon brought on the ladies and the muy sexiness AGAIN in this underground poker game version of the commercial, but I can't say as much about this Apollo version until they put that magician in a skimpier costume! Mmmm... Sexy magicians.

7.)Conan Gets Animated

One of the coolest/nerdiest remotes we did this year was when Conan visited the Warner Brothers Animation Studios and got his very own SUPER COOL super hero designed by the super-famous Bruce Timm! Holy Flaming C, Batman!  Conan returned to the Warner Bros Animation studio for another remote when one of our Graphic Artists, Pierre Bernard, had some ideas to - uh, "Improve" some of the female heroes in the DC Comics Universe.  Thank goodness PIerre has no contact with ACTUAL females outside of the 2D world. ;)

6.) Minty The Candy Cane Who Briefly Fell On The Ground

What can I say? You can't go wrong with an old-timey song about poo! Minty danced off of our screens and into our hearts, and BURNED HIS SONG INTO THE SOFT PARTS OF OUR BRAINS! Man, you know you gotta be doing something right if you're a holiday-themed character when they bring you back two more times, AND write a Spanish version of your song! Damn Minty, you got game! ;)

5.)TSA Agent Patdowns Get Weird

Our writer Andres DuBouchet portrays a TSA Officer so sly and sultry, it almost makes me want to opt-in for an airport patdown! Hoo boy.  We've seen our friendly officer Batista stuff a turkey and introduce a very special passenger to his parents, but the TSA fun all started with this clip - and an ACTUAL audience volunteer. So next time you come to a taping of Conan, beware... It might just be YOU who gets randomly selected for additional screening!! WINK WINK ;)

4.)Spiderman On Broadway

Conan's version of the "Spiderman Musical" offers a safer alternative to the danger-ridden Broadway version, with more star-power to boot. Wonder Woman, R2D2, and more, you never know which Hollywood big shot is going to stop by the next performance!

3.) Oprah's Favorite Things - "Bees"

She's one of the most powerful women in the world, she's retiring her iconic show, and she's launching her own network in 2011... How can you resist a comedy goldmine like that? Conan seized the opportunity in this arguably perfect clip, where Oprah's giveaway inspired a different emotional response from the audience. Make sure you revisit the times when Oprah made a confession and fought back too!  Wait, why are we messing with the world's most powerful woman again?!  Oprah: I'm sorry.

2.) Series Premiere Cold Open

Conan kicked off his series with an epic recap of the "previous season of Conan"... A crazy tale of what happens when one man takes a stand for what's right and then winds up getting shot at by some guys in suits and fired from being a party clown AND McDonald's.

1.) Conan Wears Jeggings

There's no doubt about it, Conan is a man of his word. All it takes is one teensy weensy mention, and Conan will honor it. I can promise you one thing, no one around here was asking him to wear these jeggings. The day of the Jeggings show, I was sitting in Producer Tracy King's office, and Conan strolled in, and was like, "What's up?"  I've never wanted to throw up more. However, the fact that Conan wore Jeggings THE ENTIRE SHOW was epic. No one will - or can - forget this moment because once you see something, YOU CAN'T UNSEE IT. WHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY GOD WHY!?  If you're a glutton for jeggings-related torture, check out the full be-jegginged monologue and the Tim Gunn interview that inspired it all - But please, make sure your children are out of the room first. Have some decency. ;)

It was hard narrowing the past decade (aka two months) down to just 11 moments, but we done our bestus. There were so many awesome nuggets that we couldn't mention here - so what was your FAVORITE comedy bit on our show this year? I will say, even though they didn't make it to the list, I still have a pretty big soft spot in my heart for that Gravy Boat Lifehouse.... But that just might be the gravyaholic in me talking.  I'm seeking help, don't worry.
