Deon’s tell a story wherein the racism actually works out in his favor.
Last night Deon tells us another His-Story about being a black person in America. According to this story, racism helped him make a few hundred dollars, when a white man in his apartment building mistook him for a flower delivery guy. I guess the moral of the story is, when someone thinks you’re a delivery boy, deliver!? I’m not sure exactly, but Deon seems happy about it, so I think it’s okay.
