Show Schedule

December 31 - January 3, 2013

  1. Monday, December 31: Episode #303 (Originally Broadcast 9/13/12)

    • Steven Ho

Our friend Stuntman Steven Ho is an expert ass-kicker and usually the ass that gets kicked belongs to Conan.

    • James Van Der Beek

We don't wanna wait for James Van Der Beek to come over / he's on "Don't Trust the B" and "Backwards." (Sorry Paula Cole!)

    • The Walkmen

The Walkmen recorded their new album Heaven in the woods of Washington state. If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of relentless rain falling on flannel in the background.

  2. Tuesday, January 1: Episode #315 (Originally Broadcast 10/4/12)

    • Jenny McCarthy

In her new book, Bad Habits: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic, Jenny McCarthy reveals that she wanted to be a nun. If nuns looked like Jenny McCarthy, we bet the pews would be packed on Sunday.

    • J.J. Abrams

J.J. Abrams directed "Star Trek Into Darkness" and will be directing the next Star Wars movie. Look for J.J. to take over directing our show about halfway through his interview.

    • Slash

Rock god Slash produced, scored and wrote a new song for his movie "Nothing Left to Fear." We'll hazard a guess and say it's probably not a romantic comedy.

  3. Wednesday, January 2: Episode #320 (Originally Broadcast 10/22/12)

    • Aziz Ansari

"Parks and Recreation"star Aziz Ansari once sang "Kiss From a Rose" on our show. We're dying to see what 90s song he has this time. "Waterfalls?" "The Sign?" We're on tenterhooks!

    • Chuck Lorre

He created "The Big Bang Theory," "Two and a Half Men," and "Mike & Molly" and he's got a new book That Which Doesn't Kill Us Makes Us Bitter. We think you've earned the right to a vacation, Chuck.

    • Kendrick Lamar

West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar's new album is called good kid, m.A.A.d city, currently giving nightmares to copy editors everywhere.

  4. Thursday, January 3: Episode #328 (Originally Broadcast 11/5/12)

    • Sarah Silverman

If there's one comedian who knows the skillful art of cleverly deployed swear words, it's Sarah Silverman. This f-bomb is for you, Sarah!

    • Brian Austin Green

In "The Wedding Band," Brian Austin Green forms a wedding band with his three close friends. We hope our Basic Cable Band plays "The Funky Chicken" as Brian walks out to keep the theme going.

    • Father John Misty

Father John Misty's new album is titled Fear Fun which is also the lesson the nuns tried to impart to us in Catholic school.
