Conan: One of the most recognizable landmarks near
Dallas is of course AT&T stadium. It's home to the Dallas
cowboys-- yeah-- and starting this weekend it will be hosting the NCAA final four.
That is very exciting.
So all this week to honor the final four taking place here in Texas, we're doing what anyone would do, we're shooting full court baskets outside of AT&T stadium with the help of a catapult we stole from Mark Cuban's bedroom instead of
shooting a basketball at a basketball hoop anyone can do that.
Every night we've been launching something uniquely Texan. So far we've launched a 72 ounce steak and a basketball prodigy just born at Baylor medical center.
Yes, its head off and Willie Nelson's back taxes.
Tonight we'll be shooting an item that honors the Mexican heritage and love of bbq and
that's right a piñata filled with seven pounds of beef brisket.
We're loading up the gravy and the brisket.
It's ready to go.
4, 3, 2, 1, launch!
Oh!
We don't quit in Texas!
Reload the piñata!
4, 3, 2, 1!
Yes!
[Applause]
Conan: That was incredible.
Should we do another one?
All right, let's do another one.
Our next item can be found all
over the roads in Texas.
It's an armadillo that's been
flattened by a truck.
The armadillo is still alive.
It's begging not to go.
4, 3, 2, 1, go!
Made it!
That looked good.
Let's see what the referee says.
Let's check with the referee.
He said no.
That's bullshit!
I say we launch that A-hole
referee!
Don't look too closely, but it's
just a dummy.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1, yeah!
Oh, who cares.
Here's the coolest part.
We teamed up with AT&T to bring
our new Conan 360 camera
allowing our viewers to watch
all those catapult shots on 360
degree video on their computer, tablet or
phone.
Let's look at the replay.
Look at the beautiful Texan skyline and the bored sound guy.
Thanks to our good friends for
bringing Conan360 and now you
can experience our show in a
whole new way.
