What is Virtual Reality (VR)?

Virtual Reality is technology that creates the illusion of being immersed in an interactive, three-dimensional space – kind of like the “holodeck” on “Star Trek.” Check out the Wikipedia entry if you want the full skinny on VR.

What equipment do I need to experience CONAN360° VR?

1. One of the many Google Cardboard Virtual Reality headsets currently available.
2. A headset-compatible Android or iOS 9 smartphone (sorry, no tablets)
3. The official YouTube app installed on the Android or iOS smartphone: Get Android Version | Get iOS Version

OK, I have all the gear. Now how do I see CONAN in VR?

1. Open the official YouTube app & navigate to the Team Coco CONAN360° playlist.
2. Select the CONAN360° video you want to play. Once the video loads, tap the VR goggles icon in the corner to activate VR mode.
3. Quickly slip your phone into your Virtual Reality headset according to the manufacturer’s instructions
4. Put on your headset and BE AMAZED; you’re at the very center of the action. You can look around, look up, look down – just don’t look in the mirror; we all look ridiculous in VR headsets!

And if you’d like to calibrate the the cardboard experience specifically for the CONAN360° headset, click on the gear icon at the bottom of the screen. The Google Cardboard app will then ask you to scan the viewer profile code found on the packaging that your CONAN360° headset came in. Scan the viewer profile and you’ll be ready to go.
